Lefkada is one of the largest islands in the Ionian Sea located about 90 miles south of Corfu. The island is known for its long sandy beaches with its turquoise waters, its picturesque seaside and mountainous villages, but also for Scorpios, the small island that for many years belonged to the family of the world famous Greek businessman, Onassis.

Porto Katsiki, Egremni, Kathisma and Agiofili are some of the most famous beaches of the island, which surely every visitor should see. The crystal clear turquoise waters combined with the white sand provide enchanting tropical views. To the south of the island, the bay of Vassiliki is a meeting point for wind surfers from all over the world. For extreme sports lovers, paragliding is available at Kathisma beach.

Take a stop at one of the many seaside taverns to taste traditional dishes and fresh fish. In the evening take a walk in the city of Lefkada enjoy the traditional ice cream and have a refreshing  summer cocktail at one of the beach bars overlooking the lover’s bridge.
